Sports centre building that was built in the project was planned as modern building with spacious and rationally arranged rooms, comfortable for users, it also provides all necessary functions. This sports centre is the ambitious addition to the learning process and opens up wide opportunities for the activities of residents and sports associations, which organise competitions of various sports types and sizes in the premises of Aluksne Sports Centre. This diversity is possible due to the fact that the gym is multifunctional and can be adapted for basketball, volleyball, floorball, and indoor soccer. In addition, a separate athletics hall was built, equipped with running tracks, sprint, long jump, high jump and shot put sectors. In addition, the building has a separate hall for judo martial arts classes, as well as exercise and weight hall. The wide spectrum of activities is important for the building to be able to gather the largest possible number of athletes staying in the building at the same time, and satisfy a diverse range of interests, so that the residents would have access to a variety of sports.
